Description

Satisfy your cravings with this mouthwatering Spicy Chicken Sandwich with Pickles. Each bite offers a harmonious blend of juicy, crispy chicken infused with spices and the refreshing crunch of dill pickles. Perfect for lunch or dinner, this sandwich is easy to prepare and customizable to suit your taste.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup thick-cut dill pickles
  • 4 brioche buns

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken by mixing buttermilk and hot sauce in a bowl. Add chicken thighs, coat well, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, combine flour, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper for the breading.
  3. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  4. Dredge marinated chicken in the flour mixture until fully coated. Fry in hot oil for about 6-8 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Once cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F), drain excess oil on paper towels.
  6. Assemble the sandwich: place fried chicken on each bun bottom, add pickles, and top with the other half.
