- 1 lb frozen French fries
- 8 oz boneless ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- 1 medium green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven according to the package instructions for the fries. Bake fries until golden brown and crispy.
- In a skillet over medium heat, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil. Add sliced onions and bell peppers; sauté until softened and caramelized.
- In another pan, heat the remaining olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook the seasoned ribeye slices for about 3-4 minutes until browned but juicy.
- Sprinkle garlic powder over the cooked steak; add salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
- Once fries are done baking, layer them on a serving platter. Top with sautéed veggies and steak slices; generously sprinkle provolone cheese on top.
- Return loaded fries to the oven for an additional 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
