Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Scrub the Russet potatoes clean and poke several holes in each with a fork.
  3. Place the potatoes directly on the oven rack and bake for 45-60 minutes until tender when squeezed.
  4. Slice open each potato lengthwise and fluff the insides with a fork. Add butter first, then layer on cheddar cheese, bacon bits, sour cream, and green onions.
