- Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper, sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, then let rest before slicing.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Add heavy cream and stir well.
