Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper, sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, then let rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Add heavy cream and stir well.
  4. Toss drained pasta into the skillet with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
  5. Mix in grated Parmesan until melted and creamy. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  6. Slice the rested steak against the grain and serve over creamy pasta. Garnish with extra Parmesan if desired.
