Description

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef short ribs
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Korean red pepper flakes (gochugaru)
  • 2 cups steamed rice
  • 1 cup pickled radishes or cucumbers

Instructions

  1. Prepare the marinade by whisking together soy sauce, minced garlic, brown sugar, sesame oil, and gochugaru in a bowl.
  2. Place beef short ribs in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal tightly and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove marinated short ribs from the fridge and let sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes before grilling.
  5. Grill each side for about 4-5 minutes until nicely charred.
  6. Serve grilled beef alongside steamed rice and pickled vegetables, garnished with chopped green onions.
