  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and rice vinegar until smooth to create the marinade.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or bowl and pour half of the marinade over them. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat (375°F / 190°C).
  4. Remove chicken from marinade (discard remaining marinade) and grill each side for about 6-7 minutes or until fully cooked through.
  5. During the last few minutes of grilling, brush reserved marinade over the chicken for added flavor.
  6. Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing; garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
