  • 1 box (6 oz) Stove Top stuffing mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (plus extra for glazing)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan.
  2. Sauté the chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat until translucent (about 5 minutes).
  3. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, sautéed onions, stuffing mix, eggs, ketchup, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix until just combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and shape it into an even loaf.
  5. Spread an additional layer of ketchup on top for added flavor.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
