  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 34 breasts)
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, minced
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by cutting the chicken into bite-sized pieces, washing and chopping the broccoli into florets, and mincing the garlic and ginger.
  2. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add sesame oil until hot.
  3. Add chicken to the pan and cook for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Season with salt.
  4. Stir in garlic and ginger; sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  5. Add broccoli florets along with 2 tablespoons of water. Cover and steam for about 3 minutes.
  6. Pour in soy sauce mixed with honey (or brown sugar) and toss everything until well-coated. Cook for an additional minute, then serve.
