- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, minced
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by cutting the chicken into bite-sized pieces, washing and chopping the broccoli into florets, and mincing the garlic and ginger.
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add sesame oil until hot.
- Add chicken to the pan and cook for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Season with salt.
- Stir in garlic and ginger; sauté for another minute until fragrant.
- Add broccoli florets along with 2 tablespoons of water. Cover and steam for about 3 minutes.
- Pour in soy sauce mixed with honey (or brown sugar) and toss everything until well-coated. Cook for an additional minute, then serve.
