Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves to create a syrup.
- Remove from heat and add mint leaves. Steep for 30 minutes.
- Juice the lemons until you have 1 cup of fresh lemon juice, straining out seeds.
- In a pitcher, mix the cooled syrup with the lemon juice and add 4 cups of cold water. Stir well.
- Serve over ice and garnish with additional mint or lemon slices as desired.
