Description

Mint Lemonade is a refreshing summer drink that combines zesty lemon and aromatic mint to create a delightful thirst-quencher. Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 1012 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves to create a syrup.
  2. Remove from heat and add mint leaves. Steep for 30 minutes.
  3. Juice the lemons until you have 1 cup of fresh lemon juice, straining out seeds.
  4. In a pitcher, mix the cooled syrup with the lemon juice and add 4 cups of cold water. Stir well.
  5. Serve over ice and garnish with additional mint or lemon slices as desired.
