Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 3 green tea bags (or 3 tsp loose leaf)
  • 1/4 cup raw honey
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • Ice cubes (as needed)
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water in a kettle. Once boiling, remove from heat and steep green tea bags for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Remove tea bags and stir in 1/4 cup of raw honey while the tea is warm to ensure it dissolves completely.
  3. Add 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice and mix well.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least one hour.
  5. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
