  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Add uncooked fettuccine and pour in 4 cups of water or broth. Bring to a boil while stirring occasionally.
  3. Reduce heat and mix in heavy cream, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for about 10 minutes or until pasta is al dente.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in freshly grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve hot.
