  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth

  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Rinse chicken breasts under cold water and pat dry. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter until foamy. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the skillet. Cook for 6-7 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 6 minutes until fully cooked.
  4. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside. Pour in chicken broth, scraping up browned bits from the bottom. Stir in heavy cream and remaining butter until melted.
  5. Add lemon juice and parsley to the sauce mixture, return chicken to the skillet, and let everything meld together for another 5 minutes over low heat.
