Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until frothy (5-10 minutes).
- In another bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Gradually add to the yeast mixture along with softened butter and eggs.
- Knead on a floured surface until smooth (5-7 minutes). Allow dough to rise in a greased bowl covered with a towel until doubled (1-2 hours).
- For the filling, mix softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon powder, and chopped strawberries.
- Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle and spread the filling evenly. Roll tightly from one end to another.
- Cut into equal pieces (12-15) and place in a greased baking dish for a final rise (30 minutes).
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Drizzle with icing made from powdered sugar mixed with milk before serving.
