  • 1 lb large shrimp (fresh or frozen)
  • 8 oz linguine or spaghetti
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated fresh Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil salted water in a large pot. Cook pasta until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  4. Toss in shrimp and cook until pink and opaque (about 3-4 minutes).
  5. Reduce heat to low; add heavy cream and stir until combined. Mix in Parmesan cheese until melted.
