- 1 tbsp red gel food coloring
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 8 oz full-fat cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, melt the butter and mix in granulated and brown sugars until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in red food coloring and vanilla extract until combined. Sift in flour and cocoa powder, folding gently until no dry streaks remain.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually add powdered sugar and heavy cream, mixing until smooth.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Spoon dollops of cheesecake mixture over it and swirl with a knife. Pour remaining brownie batter on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
