  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined.
  3. Remove from heat; whisk in eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined; then incorporate peanut butter.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes until set but soft in the center.
