  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup raw honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and black pepper. Add the chicken breasts and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken to the skillet, searing each side for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Pour any remaining marinade over the chicken and reduce heat to low. Simmer for another 10 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
  4. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired and serve hot with rice or vegetables.
