Description

  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water (110°F/43°C)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary (chopped)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Create a well in the center.
  3. Add olive oil and yeast mixture into the well; stir until combined.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth.
  5. Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm area for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
  6. Punch down the dough, fold in minced garlic and chopped rosemary, then portion into muffin tins halfway.
  7. Let muffins rise again for 30 minutes while preheating oven to 375°F (190°C).
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
