Description

Frozen banana bites are a delightful, guilt-free treat that perfectly combines the creaminess of ripe bananas with the rich flavor of chocolate. These sweet, bite-sized snacks are incredibly easy to make and can be customized with your favorite toppings. Ideal for summer gatherings or a quick pick-me-up, these frozen delights will satisfy your sweet cravings while keeping you refreshed.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • Optional toppings: chopped nuts or shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice the bananas into 1-inch thick rounds. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the banana slices on it.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
  3. Dip each banana slice into the melted chocolate mixture using a fork, ensuring they are fully coated. Allow excess chocolate to drip off before placing them back on the baking sheet.
  4. If desired, sprinkle your chosen toppings over the chocolate-covered banana bites while the chocolate is still wet.
  5. Freeze for at least 1-2 hours until solid, then transfer to an airtight container for storage.
