- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Pat dry the chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tbsp of butter and sear the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter if needed, sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Pour in the heavy cream while whisking continuously.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning; simmer for about 3 minutes until thickened.
- Return the chicken to the pan, spoon sauce over it, and serve.
