  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and oil until smooth.
  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Gently stir in the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
