Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. In a large bowl, toss chicken wings with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until fully coated.
  3. Arrange wings on the baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  4. While wings bake, heat BBQ sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat; add honey and cayenne pepper if desired; stir until warm.
