  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 4 oz sliced deli ham
  • 4 oz Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Place one slice of ham and one slice of Swiss cheese on each breast, then roll tightly.
  3. Beat the eggs in one bowl and place panko breadcrumbs in another. Dip each rolled chicken piece into the egg mixture, then coat thoroughly with breadcrumbs.
  4. Arrange the chicken rolls in the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach at least 165°F/75°C).
