Description

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers (mixed colors), chopped
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Slice the beef against the grain into thin strips. Chop bell peppers and cut broccoli into florets. Mince garlic and ginger.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to create the sauce.
  3. Heat a wok or large frying pan over high heat until smoking. Add cooking oil.
  4. Sear the beef for about 2 minutes until browned but not fully cooked; remove and set aside.
  5. In the same pan, stir-fry bell peppers and broccoli for about 3 minutes until tender but crunchy.
  6. Return the beef to the pan along with the sauce; toss to coat everything evenly and heat through for another minute.
