  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: Slice the flank steak against the grain and chop broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Create the sauce: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, cornstarch mixture, and rice vinegar until smooth.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  4. Sauté the beef in batches until browned (3-4 minutes), then remove from the pan.
  5. Stir-fry broccoli with garlic and ginger until bright green and tender-crisp (2-3 minutes).
  6. Return beef to the pan, add the sauce, stir well to coat, and simmer briefly until thickened (1-2 minutes).
