  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently until just mixed; avoid overmixing.
  5. Fill each donut cavity two-thirds full with batter.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown; cool in the pan for five minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  7. For the filling, beat heavy cream until soft peaks form; gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla bean paste until stiff peaks form.
  8. Once cooled completely, fill each donut with cream using a piping bag.
