  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually combine with wet ingredients until just mixed.
  5. For the cheesecake filling, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  6. Scoop dough onto prepared sheets; make an indent in each ball and fill with cheesecake mixture before covering with more dough.
  7. Drizzle salted caramel sauce on top of each cookie and bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden.
