Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Chop the kunafa noodles into manageable pieces.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the milk, cornstarch, and sugar; stir until thickened (about 5 minutes). Remove from heat and add the rose or orange blossom water.
- In a bowl, mix the melted butter with the kunafa noodles until well coated.
- Grease a baking dish with butter; layer half of the noodles at the bottom. Pour in the cream filling and top with remaining noodles.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and crisp on top.
- Let cool slightly before serving warm, optionally drizzling with sugar syrup.
