- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 3 breasts)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook jumbo shells in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
- In a skillet, melt 2 tbsp of butter over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper; sauté for about 6 minutes on each side until cooked through. Let cool and shred.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and garlic; sauté until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream and half of the Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Combine shredded chicken with half the garlic butter sauce and remaining Parmesan in a bowl. Fill cooked shells with this mixture.
- Spread some garlic sauce in a baking dish, place filled shells upright, drizzle with remaining sauce, and sprinkle additional cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil for the last 5 minutes to achieve a golden finish.
