  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 3 breasts)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook jumbo shells in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
  2. In a skillet, melt 2 tbsp of butter over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper; sauté for about 6 minutes on each side until cooked through. Let cool and shred.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and garlic; sauté until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream and half of the Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  4. Combine shredded chicken with half the garlic butter sauce and remaining Parmesan in a bowl. Fill cooked shells with this mixture.
  5. Spread some garlic sauce in a baking dish, place filled shells upright, drizzle with remaining sauce, and sprinkle additional cheese on top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil for the last 5 minutes to achieve a golden finish.
