- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Boil salted water in a large pot. Add pasta and cook until al dente (8-10 minutes). Reserve some pasta water before draining.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque (3-4 minutes per side).
- Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream. Simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened. Gradually add Parmesan cheese.
- Stir in cooked pasta, lemon juice, and parsley until well coated. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water as needed.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper before serving hot.
