- 1 cup whole raw hazelnuts
- 8 oz milk chocolate
- 1 cup Nutella
- ½ cup crushed wafer cookies
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp palm oil for coating (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Roast hazelnuts on a baking sheet for about 10 minutes until golden.
- In a bowl, mix Nutella, crushed wafer cookies, and cocoa powder until well combined. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and set aside.
- Melt milk chocolate over a double boiler or microwave until smooth. Add palm oil if desired for shine.
- Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate and place them on parchment paper.
- Sprinkle crushed hazelnuts on top before the chocolate sets.
