Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole raw hazelnuts
  • 8 oz milk chocolate
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • ½ cup crushed wafer cookies
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp palm oil for coating (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Roast hazelnuts on a baking sheet for about 10 minutes until golden.
  2. In a bowl, mix Nutella, crushed wafer cookies, and cocoa powder until well combined. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and set aside.
  4. Melt milk chocolate over a double boiler or microwave until smooth. Add palm oil if desired for shine.
  5. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate and place them on parchment paper.
  6. Sprinkle crushed hazelnuts on top before the chocolate sets.
