  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk (or non-dairy alternative)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon. Add softened butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla; mix until combined.
  3. For the streusel topping, mix brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and melted butter in another bowl until crumbly.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the baking dish and sprinkle half of the streusel on top. Layer with remaining batter and finish with the rest of the streusel.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
