Plus, these sliders can easily be made ahead of time, allowing you to focus on enjoying your company rather than being stuck in the kitchen.

Ingredients

  • Slider buns (brioche or potato)
  • Beef roast (well-marbled chuck)
  • Low-sodium beef broth
  • Sliced provolone cheese
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Season beef roast with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder; place in a roasting pan.
  2. Pour enough beef broth into the pan to cover the bottom about half an inch deep. Cover with foil and roast for approximately 3 hours until tender.
  3. Allow roast to rest for 10 minutes before slicing against the grain into thin pieces.
  4. Slice slider buns in half; layer with sliced beef and provolone cheese. Toast briefly if desired.
  5. Heat remaining beef broth on medium until warm for dipping sauce.
  6. Serve sliders on a platter alongside warm au jus.
