- 12 large pasta shells
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 2 cups fresh baby spinach
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Boil salted water in a large pot and cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente (about 10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the spinach in olive oil until wilted (3-5 minutes).
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, sautéed spinach, garlic powder, half of the mozzarella, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Carefully fill each pasta shell with the ricotta mixture and place them upright in a greased baking dish.
- Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed shells, then sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
