Description

Philly Cheesesteak Tortellini Pasta is a creamy, comforting dish that merges the classic flavors of Philly cheesesteak with tender tortellini for a quick and delicious meal.


Ingredients

  • Cheese tortellini
  • Thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin
  • Green bell pepper
  • Yellow onion
  • Fresh garlic
  • Low-sodium beef broth
  • Heavy cream
  • Shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté sliced onions and bell peppers for 5-7 minutes until softened.
  3. Push veggies to one side of the skillet, add sliced steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in beef broth and heavy cream; stir well and let simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
