Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Wash, core, and slice the apples into chunks (peeling optional).

  3. Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice; simmer gently to meld flavors.
  4. Blend the mixture until smooth using an immersion blender.
  5. Cook uncovered on low heat for 30-45 minutes until thickened to your preference, stirring frequently.
  6. Pour into sterilized jars while hot and seal. Cool before refrigerating.
