  • salt, pepper, cumin, paprika to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by chopping the onion, garlic, and bell peppers.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, drizzle oil and sauté onions until translucent (about 3 minutes).
  3. Add ground beef and minced garlic; cook until browned (approximately 5 minutes).
  4. Stir in bell peppers and spices; sauté until softened (about 3 minutes).
  5. Mix in uncooked rice and diced tomatoes with their juice; pour in broth or water.
  6. Bring to a boil while stirring occasionally.
  7. Reduce heat to low, cover tightly, and simmer for about 20 minutes until rice absorbs all liquid.
