- 3–4 cloves of fresh garlic
- 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 12 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- 1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper; place at the bottom of the crockpot.
- 2. Add chopped garlic and Italian seasoning, mixing well.
- 3. Pour in chicken broth until it covers the chicken halfway.
- 4. Cook on low for 4-6 hours.
- 5. Stir in heavy cream about 30 minutes before serving.
- 6. Add tortellini and spinach; cook for the final 30 minutes until tortellini is al dente.
- 7. Serve hot, garnished with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
