  • 1 lb halal ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 15 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a bowl, mix halal ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into 2-inch meatballs and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Bake for about 20 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  4. In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onions until soft; add tomato sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Add baked meatballs to the sauce and cook on low for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and toss with olive oil before serving with meatballs and sauce.
