Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, instant yeast, warm milk, eggs, and melted butter. Stir until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise in a warm spot until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
- Roll out the risen dough to half an inch thick and cut into squares.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry each piece for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove from oil and toss in powdered sugar while still warm.
