Description

Mediterranean stuffed grape leaves are a flavorful fusion of tender vine leaves wrapped around a savory rice and herb filling, perfect for gatherings or cozy nights at home.


Ingredients

  • Vine Leaves
  • Long-Grain Rice
  • Fresh Parsley
  • Dill
  • Lemon Juice
  • Onion
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper

Instructions

  1. In olive oil, sauté chopped onions until translucent. Add uncooked rice and cook for 2 minutes.
  2. Mix in parsley, dill, salt, pepper, and lemon juice until well combined.
  3. Rinse vine leaves under cold water; lay them flat.
  4. Place 1 tablespoon of filling at the base of each leaf. Fold sides over the filling and roll up tightly.
  5. Arrange rolls seam-side down in a pot lined with leftover grape leaves. Add water to cover, along with more lemon juice and olive oil.
  6. Cover and simmer on low heat for 45 minutes until rice is tender.
