- Fresh cod fillets

- Fresh lemons

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Pat the cod fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, then add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds. Stir in lemon juice and zest.
- Pour half of the lemon butter mixture into the baking dish, place the seasoned cod on top, drizzle with remaining lemon butter, and sprinkle paprika if desired.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
