Description

Lemon Butter Baked Cod is a delectable dish featuring flaky cod fillets enveloped in a rich lemon butter sauce. It’s quick to prepare and guaranteed to impress!


Ingredients

  • Fresh cod fillets
  • Unsalted butter
  • Fresh lemons
  • Garlic cloves
  • Fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper
  • Paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Pat the cod fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, then add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds. Stir in lemon juice and zest.
  4. Pour half of the lemon butter mixture into the baking dish, place the seasoned cod on top, drizzle with remaining lemon butter, and sprinkle paprika if desired.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
