Description

Delight in the crispy edges and creamy interiors of Hasselback Potatoes, a stunning side dish sure to impress at any meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 large Russet potatoes
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • Fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme)
  • Optional: Grated cheese (Parmesan or cheddar)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and scrub the Russet potatoes thoroughly. Pat dry.
  3. Carefully slice each potato into thin slits, about 1/8 inch apart, stopping just before the bottom.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over each potato, sprinkling salt and pepper between slices.
  5. Pour melted butter on top and add fresh herbs between the potato slices.
  6. Place on a lined baking sheet and bake for 45-55 minutes until golden brown and tender.
