Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 medium apples (mix of Granny Smith and Honeycrisp)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 pre-made pie crust (9-inch)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions

  5. Bake for 15 minutes at high heat, then reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for another 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow cooling for at least an hour before slicing.
