Description

Chocolate chocolate chip muffins are a decadent treat that will brighten your mornings with their rich cocoa flavor and gooey chocolate chips.   • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk (or almond/oat milk)
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil (or melted butter)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a muffin tin by greasing or lining it with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  3. In another bowl, beat together the eggs, milk, and vegetable oil until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Avoid overmixing for fluffy muffins!
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
