Description

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 12 eggroll wrappers
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • Ketchup and mustard for dipping
  • Vegetable oil for frying (enough to submerge eggrolls)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and season with seasoned salt.
  2. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted. Let cool slightly.
  3. Lay an eggroll wrapper on a clean surface; place 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture in the center. Fold bottom corner over the filling, fold in sides, and roll tightly.
  4. Heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep pot. Test by dropping in a small piece of wrapper; it should sizzle immediately.
  5. Fry eggrolls in batches until golden brown and crisp—about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Remove from oil, drain on paper towels, and serve warm with dipping sauces.
