  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 6-8 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  2. Boil salted water in a large pot. Add fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving some pasta water.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic; sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Pour in heavy cream while stirring continuously. Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy; adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
  5. Toss cooked fettuccine and sliced chicken with the sauce until well coated.
  6. Serve immediately with extra Parmesan and parsley if desired.
