  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs (basil or oregano)

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients. Chop chicken into bite-sized pieces and wash broccoli florets.
  2. Cook pasta according to package instructions in salted water until al dente; reserve half a cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add chicken seasoned with salt and pepper; cook until golden brown (5-7 minutes).
  4. Stir in minced garlic; cook for another minute. Add broccoli florets with a splash of water, cover, and steam until bright green (about 3 minutes).
  5. Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese and dried herbs until combined into a creamy sauce.
  6. Toss cooked pasta with the chicken and sauce mixture; add reserved pasta water gradually for desired consistency.
