- 2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 cups cooked pasta or rice
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat oil and sauté the chopped onion and bell peppers until softened.
- Add the ground beef, cooking until browned (about 5–7 minutes).
- Stir in minced garlic, diced tomatoes, salt, pepper, oregano, and paprika; let simmer for about 10 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the meat mixture with cooked pasta or rice.
- Transfer half of the mixture into a greased baking dish and sprinkle half of the cheese on top. Layer with remaining mixture and cheese.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
