Instructions

  2. Toss sliced apples in lemon juice and let sit.
  3. In a bowl, mix apples with sugar, cinnamon, and flour. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  4. Roll out the bottom pie crust and fit it into a pie pan.
  5. Pour the apple mixture into the crust, dotting with butter.
  6. Roll out the top crust or create a lattice design; seal edges by crimping.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes at 425°F, then reduce temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for an additional 40-45 minutes until golden.
